As the Director of Operations, Yuri is responsible for the day-to-day operations, strengthening the organization’s operating infrastructure, and managing the logistics and execution of Keseb’s convenings. He also contributes to Keseb’s organizational strategy and impact initiatives.
Prior to joining Keseb, Yuri managed the operations and finances at Global Doctors for Choice – a reproductive rights advocacy organization. Before this, he was the Ecuador Country Director at Global Citizen Year, where he was responsible for leading the Ecuador team in the planning and execution of a gap year program that focused on leadership development and cultural exchange for a cohort of 50+ international fellows (high school graduates).
Yuri started his career in international development, conducting research and managing event logistics at the United Nations Development Programme and TRIAS Andes before moving into nonprofit programs and operations.
