Saron Tesfalul is a seasoned investor and business leader who is passionate about the power of entrepreneurship and thought leadership to drive social and economic progress. As an investor at Dragoneer Investment Group, Saron helps lead private investments into technology-enabled generational growth businesses, working to identify and support companies that are transforming the industries they operate in.
Prior to joining Dragoneer in 2022, Saron spent nearly a decade at Bain Capital Private Equity, where she played a key role in investing behind founders and management teams, and supporting portfolio companies across industries including consumer, services, healthcare and technology. She began her career as a strategy consultant at Bain & Company, where she honed her skills in strategy and management.
Saron holds a BA in Economics and a minor in African Studies from Harvard University as well as an MBA from Stanford University. In addition to her work on Keseb’s advisory board, she has served on the boards of several nonprofit organizations including the Foundation for Business Equity, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting and funding Black and Latinx entrepreneurs to help scale their impact, and currently serves on the board of Cohorts Sistas, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting and accelerating the careers of Black women and nonbinary people pursuing doctorates.
